A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.

papa's chair

Oh Blog, I miss you. I've had a very busy but very good few weeks printing shirts and getting them into the hands of happy customers. I made a commitment a few months ago not to work while the babe is awake and I've stayed pretty true to that.

During an unseasonably, un-Texas-y frigid day this week, we turned the heater on and made our house into a playground, crawling through tunnels and shrieking as we ran from room to room. It felt so good to collapse on the floor in fits of laughter but we had a lot of 'splainin' to do when Papa got home from work. We had done quite a number on the shred of order that was left in the house.

Our weekend has come and gone, we did nothing but hang together today, and the coming week is a bit slower.

Inhale, exhale. Give thanks.

How cool is this babe from last week? And I'm pretty sure Eddy wants to date her in the future.

Sitting on the couch, scrolling through sweet portraits of incredible babes from around the world is something I so look forward to every week. Thank you, Jodi.

  1. i love this. he is so dang cute with those curls.

  2. I love when they climb up into Daddy's chair! Love the cute little baby fat rolls on his arms, want to gobble them!

  3. Hello there, handsome little man. Enjoy your rest in Daddy's chair. His little arm is begging to be squished. I agree, its so exciting seeing all the kiddos from all over the world on Jodi's blog.

  4. Perfection. That light, those rolls. Love it all.
