February 8th.

7 years ago today, Papa T and I went on our first date. We were 2 crazy kids and Lucy and Eddy were just a twinkle in the eye. We met in the parking lot of Shady Grove, had an unforgettable meal, and then went to The Elephant Room. I was in love.

Tonight, we'll ride to Shady Grove together like we've done every year since. This time, with a baby.

We had been dating for about 2 months in the picture. Young love!

Tim came with me to my family reunion a few months later. It was our first trip to Chicago and we fell in love with that city.

On our first anniversary, we went to San Francisco. We didn't leave our hearts there.

That summer, we moved in together and brought home our precious baby girl, Lucy.

On our third anniversary, Tim asked me to marry him in fabulous fashion.

And here we are. Now I have the awesome privilege of hanging out all day with a baby that looks just like him. Life is so good.

The world is ours whenever we're together
There ain't no place I'd rather be instead of groovin'."

  1. 7 years ago I went on a date. Set up over AOL IM and I am pretty sure MySpace was cooler than Facebook. My how the times have changed. We have been through some good times and some crazy times...none of them bad because I was with you. At first it was just me. Then I added you. I felt better everyday since that addition. Then we latched on Lucy. She made our hearts happy and made us all love each other a little more each hour that passed. Then Eddy dropped in. He makes us appreciate everything and all the little things we do. We both realized that 1st date was a start to our new life and a kick start for our little family to grow more and more each day. In size and in memories.

All the details over those 7 years we share with friends, family, co-workers, and those that have passed...but they are our details, just ours. We have them forever. Adding more and more each day is all we can do.

    Love you Miss Case
