30 weeks

The big 3-0. Now we are both in our 30s. From here on out, our weekly countdown is in the single digits. Whoa.

While we were at Ryan and Micha's wedding on Friday night, you and I rocked the dance floor for as long as my feet could stand. Each time I sat down to take a break, you kept right on dancing. Your little elbows, knees, and toes were stretching to every corner of my belly. We even got a cooky, hippie, interpretive dance blessing from the wedding officiant. Everyone should get one of those at some point in their life.

We had another appointment with the midwives yesterday. From now until Thanksgiving our appointments are every 2 weeks. You are measuring perfectly and so is my belly, despite what people tell me everyday ("Twins?" "December?" "Baby's coming soon!").  We talked about when it's time for me to start staying home to get ready for you. That sounds like heaven - making our home ready, resting, and waiting for your debut.

Papa and I finally got around to putting up our Halloween decorations last night. The whole time we were pulling out fake bones, spider webs, and light-up skeletons, your papa kept saying, "Oh noooo! Why, God, whyyyy?" in his fake scared voice. He did the very same thing when we decorated last year. It cracks me up every time. I bet he's the first one to make you laugh although Lucy's crazy kisses might get one out of you sooner.

Looking good there, little baby!
